Our smallest Bodhran is the 6 inch, which comes with a Celtic Design

The next 2 sizes are plain (no design),  the 8 inch and the 10 inch

The 12 inch comes plain or with a selection of Celtic designs
Designs: Claddagh, Celtic Cross, Shamrock, Chase, Clonmacnoise, Skellig, Trinity, Animals.

The 14 is plain and the 16 inch comes in plain and design.

The 18 inch comes in many shapes and sizes and is the most commenly played size in Ireland.

  • 18 inch plain
  • 18 inch Pro Series, which comes in a range of finishes; Black, Brown, Walnut, Natural, Antique Pine, Yellow Oak, Dark Oak, Medium Oak.
  • 18 inch Super Pro Series, which comes in a range of finishes; Black, Mahogony, Natural, Pine, Yellow Oak, Dark Oak, Medium Oak, Wallnut.
  • 18 inch Design Series, these come in a wide range of designs including: Skellig, Chase, Warrior, Tara, Clonmacnoise, Trinity, Smiling Pint, Piper, Whistler, Bodhran Player, Harper, Irish Ministrels, Celtic Animals, Shield, Shamrock, Claddagh, Celtic Ireland, Celtic Cross
  • 18 inch County Design Series, have your home counties crest on the front of your bodhran. All 32 counties available and the GAA logo is also available.
  • Finally for those who are serious about their playing there is the Brendan White triple and double skin tuneable bodhrán.

We stock Paraic McNeela Bodhrans which are handmade and hand painted.  These are made with top quality natural materials and are decorated with Celtic designs. These are a must see item that play as good as they look.
